STREET THEATRE
The street is the most altruistic place to perform, outdoor arts offers a theatrical experience, to engage audiences with a story.
The story means everything to me. To come across the magic of a puppet that relates its journey across the sea, to discover spices or encounter characters that share their interests, coffee for instance! To ask passers by to imagine themselves from a time when a curtsey was a greeting all adds unexpected delight, a small radical act disrupting the every day.
LAND
What happens when a 3000 year old woman appears from her mound?
What can we learn from the past to inform our future experiences with the LAND. Featuring the rarest of creatures living in the Dorset landscape, LAND delights audiences of all ages. At a time when we all need to take responsibility for our use and disposal of certain materials. Thora will provide a talking point for a cleaner healthier more connected future.
THE SPICE BOX
A mysterious Spice Box has been washed up and captured. What is its story?
Full of Eastern promise its many drawers hold cinnamon, nutmeg and peppercorns as well as tales of pillaging pirate ships and kidnappings. Stunning puppets tell of the daring voyage to bring back spices at a time when Spices were more valuable than gold.

THE RESPECTABLES
A promenade performance of two flamboyant Georgian residents. A Riotous Promenade Performance of Georgian Opulence and Excess. 'The Respectables' promenade around the Town offering an accessible and interactive experience for unassuming visitors.
On their perambulation they purvey titbits of sweetmeats and fancies (factoids about the Georgians), enchant the public with displays of fanciful dancing and occupy benches for 'tete a tete' romantic whisperings. Expect flourishes of handkerchieves, the Georgian semaphore of fan flirting and regular and desperate demands for coffee!
"Once alcohol was the thing, but now coffee is the fashion."
Carlo Goldoni's play 'The Coffee House'
Colin’s character is addicted to the Coffee House but doesn't understand what a 'Skinny Latte' is and my character is a militant member of the Keepers of the Liberty of Venus (Anti-Coffee House movement).
Performed with Colin Phillimore, Directed by Alice Flynn
THE INSTITUTE OF LAUGHTER
A pop-up two-person street performance. Let the Giggle Doctors from The Institute of Laughter diagnose the problem - mainly not enough laughter, issuing giggle forfeits, testing the most giggles on the Giggleometor and finding out what kind of laugh suits you.
What makes a giggler giggle? Clowning and playing will be part of the show along with a song or two.
Performed and devised with Colin Phillimore
