ABOUT ME

 

I’m an actress, an award-winning storyteller, presenter and early years practitioner.

As Associate Artist at Forest Forge Theatre Company I devised and developed my latest touring Arts Council England-funded production I’m Glad I Asked  Directed by Steve McCourt and Amy Rose. I have also toured with their subsidiary company Bumblefly Theatre.

My many Arts Council-funded projects include:

The Spice Box written and devised with Amy Rose
Mothers and Daughters: I’m Glad I Asked’ written with Katarina Redeva LANDcommissioned by the National Trust to interpret their 10 year LON strategy and devised with Director Amy Rose.

I have appeared in films made by State of Play Arts to commemorate the 1914-18 WW1 centenary: Aftermath and Tommy’s Girls.

As an Early Years practitioner specialising in child-led art inspired by Reggio Emilia and Vivian Gussin-Paley, I’m a part of Babigloo Music for Babies using the techniques of Dr Edwin Gordon and Professor Paulo Lamiero.

I have also worked with:

About Valise Noire

As co-director of Valise Noire Storytelling Theatre Company, I’ve delivered many National Heritage Lottery Funded projects.

I believe in the importance of interpreting heritage through the Arts and I want to ensure that the under-represented voice of women in history is recorded and shared.
